Perspective On Society's Discomfort Toward Transgender Individuals

I found an article recently published on CNN that discusses the reasons behind society's discomfort toward transgender individuals. It's rather brief but it sums up some of the topics we've talked about in class and provides the reader with a background of different perspectives from people regarding transgender issues. While some say it should be considered "self-mutilation" to change our biological sex, others blame the hostility toward transgender individuals on society's lack of classification other than boy or girl stereotypes.
