The Third Gender Option

In Australia, intersex people are now allowed to list their genders as X on their passports. Prior to this, there were the two conventional genders that could be listed on passports: male and female. Now, however, in hopes of abolishing discrimination against transgenders and hermaphrodites, intersex people are no longer forced to decide between genders.
