Minangkabau marriage

Hey, I'm posting something from my country this time. Here's an article about Minangkabau matrilineal system, which mean ancestral lineage is traced from mother or maternal ancestor. In Minangkabau society, women are highly empowered and respected, but it does not mean that female are superior over men. Hope you guys find it rather interesting
